Security

SOC 2 compliance process

We are very proud of the work we have done to obtain our SOC 2 Type II report, which certifies that we have implemented a security framework to protect customer data from unauthorized access, security incidents, and other vulnerabilities.

Our goal is to improve our existing processes in order to meet security requirements relating to the following:

• Information security
• Operations management
• Research & Development
• Human resources
• Finance and procurement

Permission management has been redesigned to ensure that each user only has the access they need. The result: greater security, greater clarity, and an application that is better suited to your everyday needs.

Mobile application

After the holidays, several new features will be added to the mobile application. You can already view the list of some of the features that will be available in the first month of the new year: Mobile 1.0.10.

Other features will follow, such as displaying tasks in service requests and adding a new authentication mode that will give you more options.

Our goal is to offer you all the features that existed in the old mobile app and more.

Cloud Solutions

User synchronization | Microsoft Entra ID

We are putting the finishing touches to the documentation enabling the synchronization of your Octopus users with Microsoft Entra ID.

After the holidays, we will schedule a pilot testing phase to validate the solution. You will then be able to discover the new simplified configuration approach.

Authentication | Support for authentication with Microsoft Entra ID

Adjustments have been made to align the configuration of Microsoft Microsoft Entra ID enterprise applications with current standards for supporting SAML and OAuth 2.0 authentication.

We have taken particular care to produce clear, detailed, and structured documentation to simplify the configuration process as much as possible:

• Identity Federation - Microsoft Entra ID - SAML / OpenID Applicaton
• Identity Federation - Microsoft Entra ID - API Application
